High-End Graphic Designers

Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide visualization and design solutions from concept to completion for our clients. You will be responsible for designing and producing projects from concept to finality. Projects will be complex and require a high level of skill and experience as a designer. All projects must fit the style and tone of the client's brand. The High-End Graphic Designer will be part of a creative team and will give input into creative concepts, headlines and layout, keeping in mind the goals and objectives of the project.

Requirements:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Graphic Designer include developing concepts for advertisements and projects, actual design and layout of all aspects of the project. Essential elements include photos, type, graphic elements, rendering objects or elements to enhance the design, meeting deadlines, giving advice and experience to co-workers, work with vendors on pricing and production, and press-check necessary projects.

Qualifications include:

  • Advanced knowledge of computer programs such as AfterEffects, Premiere, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Director, Flash, Quark XPress and others
  • A great understanding of the pre-press and printing process, drawing, illustrating, and cartooning
  • Prior experience in the design field. The Senior Graphic Designer must work well in teams and be able to lend to creative discussions as well as solve design problems. The Senior Graphic Designer must be able to keep the design team on brand at all times.
  • 5+ years of experience with portfolio review required
  • Experience with design, print, multimedia, video, pre-press, color proofing, and 4-color offset printing
  • Experience with web design, Dreamweaver, HTML, and JavaScript a plus
  • BA or BFA in art or advertising is preferred
  • Must be able to communicate to other member of the team and staff
  • Use of good judgment must be used when determining direction of design. The final design must meet the requirements established by the messaging of the project
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive on an ongoing basis
  • Moderate to extensive travel is involved. Travel may include press-checks and agency discussions
