Summary:

We are looking nationwide for Senior and Executive level Multimedia/Video Production Consultants with diverse talents who can combine creative and technical experience to produce interactive multimedia solutions for our corporate enterprise customers and entertainment industry clients.

Description:

As Multimedia/Video Production Consultant, you will be heavily involved in HANDS-ON multimedia design/production and applying your mastery of multimedia tools and skills to achieve creative solutions for our clients. In addition, a small percentage of your time will, from time to time, be also devoted to performing Graphic/Creative Design and Illustration, Web Design, and Photography activities.

You will be part of a team of artists, designers, writers, and programmers working on multimedia/CD-ROM/DVD and other audiovisual projects for high-profile advertising and entertainment clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will:

  • Consult with client to obtain multimedia project objectives, specs, and working materials
  • Develop concepts and design ideas based on project objectives; participate in brainstorming sessions, produce rough comps and prepare final comps for clients
  • Serve as a project manager/producer on multiple, concurrent projects that vary in size and scope
  • Establish scope, scheduling, budgets, communication plan, risk management, and resource planning for successful execution of project deliverables
  • Ensure that accurate and timely information is collected and reported for project progress and financials
  • Interface with a wide variety of internal organizations, with solid communication skills and ability to work across functional groups
  • Manage cross-functional teams across a full systems development life cycle to assure client satisfaction
  • Recognize new business opportunities with existing customers and act appropriately to pursue these opportunities
  • Design and produce simple to complex multimedia presentations; prepare files for imaging to film 4-color printing, advanced media, and electronic delivery
  • Plan, manage and report project status, budget, and milestone achievements for all phases of a project
  • A great deal of travel may be involved in this position

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of HANDS-ON experience managing production of interactive content (DVD, web, CD-ROM, multi-platform) and high comfort level with technology
  • Broad exposure to application of multimedia technology to solve business problems for media and entertainment clients.
  • Understanding of traditional workflows for different segments of media and entertainment industry
  • Awareness of trends and initiatives in media and entertainment
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and proposal input in pre-sales efforts
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to adapt well to frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • Desire and ability to build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with clients, becoming a valued resource for them and their own ability to meet internal business goals
  • Desire to foster professional growth of team members
  • Proven ability to take a project in hand, and direct a team to its completion
  • Ability to direct and manage vendors
  • Extensive knowledge of all aspects of DVD authoring, including encoding, formatting, graphics and duplication processes
  • Expert knowledge of Freehand, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Persuasion, Director, Premiere, and QuarkXPress
  • Working knowledge of both Mac and PC platforms, with ability to build and troubleshoot cross-platform files
  • Ability to properly prepare files for film, print, video and electronic media
  • Knowledgeable in current A/V equipment technology
  • Experience setting up and operating broadcast video equipment including Digibeta, Betacam, DVPro, U-Matic and VHS decks is a big plus.
  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in a visual communications field and 6-10 years visual communications experience, including presentation design and production.
