Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide advice on sophisticated transactional matters, including securities and derivatives, sponsored research, technology transfer, intellectual property, joint venture arrangements and other collaborative relationships with corporate clients.
• Advise the Elite Marketing Research Lab concerning all aspects relating to the commercialization of inventions and technologies developed at the lab.
• Will be responsible for drafting patents, patent prosecution, and handling trademark matters as well as assisting in the development of corporate-wide intellectual property strategies.
• Personally participate in securities and high profile IP matters ( including dealing with investors, significant licenses, infringement risk assessment, litigation, strategic alliances, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.)
• During the first 6 months, your role will be primarily BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT oriented - similar to that of Partners at Major International Law Firms and will be assigned a revenue goal. Do NOT apply if that is an issue.
• Attend daily, weekly and monthly teleconferences and, when required, onsite meetings.

Please note this is a virtual team opportunity. You can do this from anywhere in the US, as long as you have an unlimited local and long distance phone line; cell phone with free mobile to mobile capability (Cingular is preferred); fax machine; a laptop computer with Powerpoint, ACROBAT, Publisher and etc.; and high-speed access to the Internet. An IP videophone (e.g. Motorola phone) is highly recommended, however, it is not required.

Requirements:

• Highly Entrepreneurial, Successful AND Financially Secure. Please do NOT apply for this position if you don't meet this minimum requirement and are looking for a weekly paycheck. You should NOT be relying on a weekly paycheck for at least the first 6 months. This is NOT a traditional corporate position.
• STRONG business development experience.
• Extensive experience with securities, derivatives and broker-dealer law and market practice, and dealing with business clients independently.
• Must be a widely recognized Securities counsel and IP GURU with an impressive record of success and achievements.
• VISION, Integrity, Discipline, Loyalty, Team Player, Ability to Multitask.
• Ability to work in a highly disciplined and structured virtual environment is a must. We will provide the necessary training.
• Demonstrated strategic and innovative thinking capabilities.
• A level-headed people person who can clearly communicate the vision behind NetWEB Elite Solutions, project our elitist corporate image in the most positive light, effectively represent our interests, and keep the barbarians at the gate.
• Strong PowerPoint presentation and superior proposal writing skills are also a must.
• Significant internet experience and anticipation of practical aspects of Internet technology.
• Must have excellent WRITTEN and verbal communications skills.
• Member of various academic and corporate advisory boards, as well as membership in a number of nationally recognized IP or other industry-related organizations.
• Minimum 15 years successful regulatory, corporate legal department - preferably working in a high technology company, AND law firm experience.
• Member of the California Bar, with a J.D. from a Top 25 law school is preferred.
