Sr. Principal, eBusiness Intelligence

A strong demand for ebusiness intelligence exists for companies who seek to be in compliance with Sarbannes-Oxley and this has created opportunities for experienced ebusiness intelligence professionals to play a significant role in the start-up, growth and strategic development of our eBusiness Intelligence practice.

You can do this from anywhere in the world, as long as you have an unlimited local and long distance phone line; fax machine; a laptop computer with Powerpoint, Publisher and etc.; and high-speed access to the Internet.

Duties & Responsibilities:

As a Senior Principal, eBusiness Intelligence, you will demonstrate strong client management skills, including the ability to develop new business as well as extend current business opportunities. You will have expertise in directing large-scale projects as required, including setting corporate strategy, generating proposals, performing client presentations, and supporting corporate visibility. You will lead by example with an emphasis on solving ebusiness problems.

Sometimes you'll be part of a team, sometimes a lone wolf on your own, developing ebusiness intelligence strategies that address the needs of our clients, and making a BIG IMPACT on online initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a Highly Disciplined and Structured VIRTUAL Environment.
  • Highly motivated professional with excellent WRITTEN and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build an eBusiness Intelligence practice from GROUND ZERO.
  • Strong credentials in the industry as a foremost expert on ebusiness intelligence matters, coupled with strongly established relationships with C-level executives.
  • STRONG POWERPOINT PRESENTATION and SUPERIOR PROPOSAL WRITING SKILLS ARE ALSO A MUST.
  • PROVEN EXPERIENCE as an individual contributor selling applications packaged at $350,000+. A quota buster.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT and professional services industry with a minimum of 2-6 years of consulting experience, preferably in large-scale ebusiness intelligence software implementation projects.
  • High level of specialized technical expertise, ability to work independently and excellent communications / interpersonal skills required. TEAM PLAYER.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of functional and technical aspects of data optimization
  • The depth and breadth of industry expertise to be recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more of the following industries: Retail, Financial Services, Commodities Trading, Energy, Oil & Gas, and Telco.
  • Background in data warehousing, system conversions, ERP implementations, instance consolidation, or specific vertical industries (healthcare, manufacturing, financial services) are desired.
  • Strong skills in managing client expectations and ensuring successful delivery of full lifecycle enterprise class consulting projects in one or more industries.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize opportunities.
  • Must be extremely reliable, a self-starter, focused, determined, resourceful and organized, and be able to hit the ground running.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required. An advanced degree is preferred. A Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence or related discipline is a BIG PLUS.
